Korte picks up conference honors

Niagara County Community College freshman defender Jacob Korte was recently named to the 18-player All-Western New York Athletic Conference team following a vote of WNYAC coaches.

Korte started all 12 games for the Thunderwolves - often marking up on the opposing team's top offensive threats.

The versatile frosh was also second on the team with 13 shots.

Pat Anderson of WNYAC runner-up Jamestown Community College was named Coach of the Year.
