Grapplers compete at NJCAA Championships

Niagara County Community College had four wrestlers compete on the biggest stage at this past week's NJCAA Championships held at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Freshmen Ethan Ferro and Trevon Mathews each won a match to help the Thunderwolves earn six points, which was good for 36th place as a team.

Ethan Ferro (157 pounds)

Ferro pinned Nathan Napolitano (Iowa Central), 1:07

Diego Isiordia (Ellsworth) pinned Ferro, 4:45

Jonathan Vincent (Labette) pinned Ferro, 1:31

Cortez Henderson (165 pounds)

Simon Lingle (174 pounds)
