NCCC clipped by Timberwolves

Niagara County Community College competed for a full 90 minutes, but came up just short as it dropped a 3-2 decision to visiting Region III foe SUNY Adirondack on Saturday afternoon.

The Thunderwolves fell to 0-2 on the young season, while Adirondack improved to 1-3-1 overall and 1-1-1 in regional play.

NCCC sophomore striker Kara Seguin was all over the field, netting both of the team's goals. Classmate Michaela Reed earned the lone assist in her season debut.

Meanwhile, Vivian Picerno scored two goals for the Timberwolves.

N-Trip is back on the pitch at 2 p.m. Sunday when it hosts Hudson Valley Community College.
