Niagara County Community College couldn't keep up with nationally-ranked NJCAA Div. I Monroe Community College as it dropped an 8-0 Western New York Athletic Conference contest on Saturday afternoon. The host T-Wolves are 0-4 overall, while MCC improved to 4-1-1.
NCCC sophomore Kara Seguin notched the team's only four shots, while freshman goalkeeper Alyssa Aceti made seven saves in her season debut. N-Trip was out-shot 28-4 in the loss.
Mandy Hurlburt scored twice to lead a balanced Tribunes attack.
The Thunderwolves return to regional play at Noon Saturday when Jamestown Community College visits the Sanborn campus.
