Niagara County Community College finished 1-2 at its final Region III pod of the regular season this past weekend.
The Thunderwolves, who moved to 4-13 overall, lost to Jefferson CC and host Onondaga CC before topping Cayuga CC in its last match.
NCCC travels to former conference rival Genesee CC at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

NCCC sophomore Kaitlin Hoadley had six kills and 13 assists as the Thunderwolves took a set from one of the region's best teams. Classmate Jocelyn Swierski added six digs and sophomore Alexia Bleuer had four kills in the setback.
Onondaga CC 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 17-9-16
Despite six kills and six digs from sophomore Gianna Smalley, the T-Wolves were swept in straight sets. Hoadley added 17 assists and seven digs and Bleuer again had four kills for NCCC.
Niagara CCC 25-25-25, Cayuga CC 20-19-14
Bleuer ripped nine kills and Smalley had eight kills as N-Trip cruised in three sets. Freshman Maris Parmelee notched five aces and Hoadley had 28 assists in the big win.
