NCCC drops tight contest vs. Cougars

Niagara County Community College couldn't overcome a poor shooting night as it dropped a 74-68 Region III road tilt to Genesee Community College on Wednesday night. NCCC, which shot just 33 percent from the floor and 15 percent from 3-point land, fell to 23-5 overall and 7-2 in regional play.

Sophomore forward William Kondrat led the Thunderwolves with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore guard Hunter Anderson finished with 14 points and five boards and second-year forward David Petit-Homme also had a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards.

Next up for the T-Wolves is their regular-season finale at 3 p.m. Saturday when rival Erie Community College visits the Sanborn campus.
