Niagara County Community College won a pair of Region III Western Division games at SUNY Broome on Tuesday afternoon. The Thunderwolves are now 34-5 overall and 21-1 in regional play.

Sophomore right-hander Matt Matre improved to 6-0 on the season after tossing six strong innings. He allowed just two hits, no earned runs and struck out eight. Freshman Brandon Nicholson was 3-for-5 with four RBIs, while classmate Zarley Cina finished 3-for-5 with three RBIs. Freshman Nate Chase blasted a home run and sophomore Michael Colosi collected four hits.
Niagara CCC 7, SUNY Broome 0
Freshman lefty Cameron Voss threw five one-hit innings with 10 strikeouts to pick up the victory. Colosi finished 1-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored, while sophomore Brad Wroblewski ripped an RBI triple.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a home doubleheader with the Hornets. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. Thursday.
