Niagara County Community College opened the home portion of its schedule with a pair of tough losses to NJCAA Div. I Monroe College on Wednesday. NCCC is now 3-3 overall with a four-game series vs. Region III opponent Monroe Community College on tap for this weekend. Saturday's twinbill is at NCCC, while Sunday's double dip is at MCC.

Freshman Matt Ferris clubbed a two-run double, but the T-Wolves could not overcome five fielding errors. Freshman Cal Brazier had two hits and an RBI and classmate Troy Leibert didn't give up an earned run in four innings of relief.

Sophomore Devaun Farnham tossed six innings of three-hit ball in the loss. He allowed just one earned run and struck out seven. Sophomore Scottie O'Bryan stole two bases and had one of NCCC's four hits.
