Evans recognized by WNYAC

Niagara County Community College freshman shortstop Zach Evans was recently named Western New York Athletic Conference Freshman Male Athlete of the Year following a vote of conference athletic directors.

Evans hit .351 with 28 RBIs and 33 runs scored for the Region III champion Thunderwolves. He was an NJCAA Division III World Series All-Tournament selection after leading NCCC to a runner-up finish at the tournament.
