SUNY Niagara remained unbeaten with a pair of road wins at Region III rival Erie Community College on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 2 in the most recent NJCAA Div. III poll, improved to 31-0 overall and 13-0 in regional play.
The T-Wolves return home on Tuesday for a twinbill vs. Corning Community College. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
SUNY Niagara 7, Erie CC 4
Sophomore Gavyn Boyle was 3-for-4 with two home runs, two RBIs and four runs scored to lead the charge. Freshman Mike Schaefer went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and classmate Cooper Rossano added two hits and two runs scored. Sophomore Nolan Feidt moved to 3-0 on the mound as he tossed 3.1 innings of scoreless relief. Feidt allowed just one hit and struck out two in his appearance.

Rossano was 4-for-5 with a double, triple and three RBIs in the win. Boyle had two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored and Schaefer clubbed a three-run home run. Sophomore Michael Cole went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and classmate Christopher Finocchario was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Freshman Matt Barr moved to 5-0 on the year as he struck out nine batters in six innings of work.
