Pitching dominated the day as SUNY Niagara swept visiting Genesee Community College in a Region III doubleheader on a frigid Tuesday afternoon at Sal Maglie Stadium.
The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 3 in the latest NJCAA Div. III poll, improved to 20-0 overall and 2-0 in regional play. GCC, meanwhile, fell to 9-10, 0-2.

Sophomore Aidan Paul improved to 3-0 on the year as he tossed a five-inning, no-hitter. The right-hander had four strikeouts and one walk. Sophomore Keygan Miksa had two doubles and three RBIs, classmate Nigel Sebastianelli was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored and second-year standout Gavyn Boyle clubbed a two-run triple.

Freshman Matt Barr allowed just two hits and struck out 10 over six innings to move to 3-0 on the bump. At the plate, Boyle ripped a home run, freshman Dalton Harper went 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored and sophomore Weston Thompson finished 1-for-2 with a triple and three RBIs.
