SUNY Niagara continued its winning ways with a sweep of Region III rival Jamestown Community College on Thursday afternoon at Sal Maglie Stadium.
The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 2 in the latest NJCAA Div. III poll, improved to 35-0 overall and 17-0 in regional play.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a twinbill at Onondaga Community College. First pitch is at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Reigning Region III Baseball Athlete of the Week Cooper Rossano clubbed a three-run home run as the Thunderwolves earned a come-from-behind win in extra innings. The freshman had two hits and scored two runs. Sophomore Christopher Finocchario was 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI, freshman Mike Schaefer had two RBIs and classmate Dalton Harper went 2-for-2 with a triple. Sophomore Mark Holm tossed 2.2 innings of scoreless relief to earn his first win of the year. Holm struck out five batters.

Freshman Liam Hadfield registered eight Ks in five innings of work to improve to 3-0 on the season. Schaefer had two hits and three RBIs, sophomore Adrian Salas added two hits and two RBIs and second-year standout Gavyn Boyle ripped a two-run double and scored twice. Sophomore Braden Hill chipped in with two hits and two runs scored and freshman Joe Panzarella had two RBIs.
