SUNY Niagara swept visiting Onondaga Community College in Region III action on Thursday afternoon at a sun-soaked Sal Maglie Stadium.
The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 2 in the latest NJCAA Div. III poll, improved to 39-0 overall and 21-0 in regional games.
The Wolves complete the season series with a road doubleheader at 1 p.m. Sunday at OCC.
SUNY Niagara 18, Onondaga CC 1 (5 inn.)
Sophomore Eric Woodley threw a five-inning ho-hitter with three strikeouts. The right-hander is now 5-0 on the season. Sophomore Gavyn Boyle, meanwhile, clubbed a three-run home run and finished with four RBIs and two runs scored. Classmate Nigel Sebastianelli was 3-for-4 with a double and five RBIs, sophomore Michael Cole went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored, freshman Mike Schaefer finished 3-for-3 with four runs scored and sophomore Weston Thompson added an RBI double and scored three runs.

Freshman Matt Barr improved to 6-0 on the bump as he went five innings and struck out seven batters. Sophomore Braden Hill had a double and three RBIs, freshman Cooper Rossano was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, Schaefer had a double, two RBIs and two runs scored and Cole added two RBIs.
