T-Wolves have more mound gems

The SUNY Niagara pitching staff continued to shine as it swept past host Onondaga Community College in a Region III doubleheader on Sunday afternoon.

The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 2 in the most recent NJCAA Div. III poll, improved to 41-0 overall and 23-0 in regional play.

The T-Wolves are back in action at 1 p.m. Thursday for a non-region twinbill at Monroe Community College.

SUNY Niagara 7, Onondaga CC 1

Sophomore Aidan Paul allowed just two hits and struck out five batters in seven innings of work. The righty is now 7-0 on the bump. Sophomore Braden Hill was 3-for-4 with three RBIs, classmate Gavyn Boyle ripped two doubles and scored twice and second-year standout Nigel Sebastianelli added a two-run triple. 

SUNY Niagara 8, Onondaga CC 0

Freshman Liam Hadfield moved to 4-0 on the mound as he registered eight Ks in six innings of work. Freshman Cooper Rossano was 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI, Boyle went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored and sophomore Michael Cole was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
