Hyman earns All-American honors

Niagara County Community College freshman golfer Sam Hyman recently earned NJCAA Div. III third-team All-American honors. Hyman is just the second All-American in program history, joining Shane Helbig (2017).

Hyman shot rounds of 76, 76, 82 and 79 for a four-day total of 313 total strokes at Chautauqua Golf Club's 6,559-yard, Par-72 layout. Hyman took 13th place, which was the best finish in school history.

Hyman, who recently signed with NAIA Ave Maria University, finished with a stroke average of 80.1. He was the Mohawk Valley Community College Invitational medalist, finished in first-place at three tournaments and was a first-team All-Region selection.
