Neidrauer earns medalist honors at Jefferson Invite

Niagara County Community College finished second at the annual Jefferson Community College Invitational played in chilly and wet conditions at the par-70 Elms Golf Club in Sandy Creek this past Friday. The Thunderwolves had 356 total strokes, which was 30 back of the host Cannoneers. 

Freshman Sam Hyman led NCCC with an 86, while classmates Fred Waterman and Cameron Cswaykus each shot 89. Sophomore Murphy Lang carded a 92. Anthony Gullo of Jamestown CC was the medalist with a 76, followed closely by Jefferson CC's Ryan Blevins (78). 

Meanwhile, N-Trip sophomore Emily Neidrauer brought home women's medalist honors for the fourth time this season as she fired a 90. 

The Thunderwolves return to the course this coming weekend for the annual Region III Tournament. It will be played for the first time at Kaluhyat Golf Course at Turning Stone in Verona.
