Three golfers earn All-American honors

Niagara County Community College had three golfers earn All-American honors at this past week's NJCAA Division III National Championships hosted by Chautauqua Golf Club. 

Sophomore Sean Barrett repeated as a second-team selection after finishing in a tie for fifth and losing out on a three-way tiebreaker. Barrett fired rounds of 73, 72, 73 and 76 for a four-day total of 294 (six-over-par) on the 6,485-yard, Par-72 layout. His score and finish was the best in school history.

Classmate Leo Camilloni was a third-team choice after finishing in 17th place. He shot rounds of 75, 80, 80 and 74 for a four-day total of 209 (21-over-par).

Fellow sophomore Zac Golibersuch took T-29th with a 317 (78-79-84-76). 

In women's action, sophomore McCarthy Lang returned to the podium for the second straight year with rounds of 92, 94, 95 and 89. She finished with a four-day total of 370 in the event, which was played under a Par-74 format. Lang was also named the event's Sportsmanship Award winner.
