T-Wolves rally comes up short at JCC

After trailing by as many as 21 in the second half, visiting Niagara County Community College trimmed Jamestown Community College's lead to just four with two minutes remaining before succumbing 101-94 in Western New York Athletic Conference action on Tuesday night. NCCC drops to 12-8 overall and 2-3 in WNYAC play.

Sophomore sharp shooter Mike McQuillen netted a team-high 20 points, while freshman wing Justin Alleyne-Washington added 17 points and five rebounds.

Freshman center Kofi Mills notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward Francisco Williams and first-year point guard Elijah McNeely each chipped in with 12 points.

Next up for the Thunderwolves is a road contest at rival Genesee CC. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
