Scantlebury, Kondrat named first team All-Region

Niagara County Community College sophomores Nigel Scantlebury and William Kondrat were recently named to the Region III Division II first team following a coach's vote. Classmate David Petit-Homme was a second-team choice. The trio, all of which hold several scholarship offers, helped NCCC to 51 wins over the past two seasons.

Scantlebury was the top scorer for the Thunderwolves, netting 430 total points for a 14.3 average. The 48-percent shooter also ranked tops in assists (5.3) and steals (1.5) per outing. 

Kondrat was second on the team in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 14.3 points and 6.7 boards per game. He also converted 57 percent of his field-goal attempts.

Petit-Homme was the squad's top rebounder at 7.5 per night. He averaged 13.6 points per game on 45 percent shooting and led the team with 1.5 blocked shots per contest.
