White named POY; Beilein is COY

Niagara County Community College sophomore Kailee White was named Region III Division II Player of the Year following this past Saturday's championship game. The point guard led the Thunderwolves in most statistical categories, including 16.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per centest. He also shot 51 percent from the field. 

Joining White on the All-Region first team were NCCC freshmen Justin Hendrick and Jamond Jones. Hendrick averaged 11.3 points, 3.7 boards and 2.4 assists per game. Jones averaged 9.7 points per night on 41 percent shooting from 3-point range. 

Jamestown CC also had two representatives on the first team in sophomores Kyle Butler and Isaac Allen.

NCCC head coach Bill Beilein, now in his 12th season at the school, was named Region III Division II Coach of the Year.
