T-Wolves top JCC in regional opener

Niagara County Community College opened its Region III schedule with a 72-54 victory over visiting Jamestown Community College on Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves are now 2-0 overall, while the Jayhawks dropped to 0-2.

Sophomore point guard Kailee White led NCCC for the second straight outing, finishing with 18 points, six rebounds and three assists. Freshman Justin Hendrick continued his hot start as well, netting 14 points, seven boards and three assists. Sophomore Adam Hosseini scored 10 points in his season debut and freshman Allen Fordham contributed eight points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals off the bench. 

Isaac Allen had a game-high 21 points for JCC, which was plagued by 22 turnovers.

Next up for the T-Wolves is a Friday night contest at USCAA member Villa Maria College. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
