NCCC knocks off Falcons for second time

Niagara County Community College raced out to a 12-point halftime lead on its way to a convincing 88-74 non-conference win over host Lackawanna College on Sunday afternoon. It's the Thunderwolves' second win over the Falcons in the past week. NCCC is now 4-0 overall, while Lackawanna fell to 2-4.

Sophomore Kailee White led NCCC in scoring for the fourth consecutive game as he finished with 19 points, five assists, three rebounds and three steals. Freshman Allen Fordham had 16 points off the bench, while classmate Jamond Jones added 14 points and five boards. Freshman Taylor Sanders chipped in nine points and sophomore Adam Hosseini had eight points and seven rebounds in his first start of the season.

Nashawn Johnson had a game-high 21 points to lead Lackawanna.

Next up for the T-Wolves is a non-conference road date at Bryant & Stratton College of Albany. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The game will be played at St. Anne Institute in Albany.
