Niagara County Community College built up a 19-point halftime lead and cruised past visiting Union County Community College, 93-65, in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon. The Thunderwolves improved to 9-3 overall, while the Owls fell to 0-11.
Sophomore Adam Hosseini and freshman Justin Hendrick each had 13 points in a balanced effort that saw NCCC shoot 51 percent from the field. Freshmen Allen Fordham and Naeem Bland each netted 11 points and sophomore Kailee White finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Godly Marc had a game-high 21 points for the Owls.
NCCC will now host Jamestown Community College for the Region III championship at 2 p.m. Sat. April 3.
