Hendrick named 1st team All-American

Niagara County Community College freshman guard Justin Hendrick was recently named an NJCAA Division II First Team All-American. Hendrick is the eighth NCCC men's basketball player to earn the honor, joining Alan Shug (1966), Pat Lewis (1974), Berry Right (1979), Sheldon Zablotny-Crosby (2015), Jamal Pollydore (2017), Donel Cathcart (2018) and Kailee White (2021).

Hendrick averaged 16.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game for the Region III champion Thunderwolves, who finished with an overall record of 27-9 and advanced to the NJCAA Div. II National Tournament. The Region III Player of the Year also canned 109 3-pointers at a 41-percent clip.
