NCCC beats host CCBC Titans

Niagara County Community College had a balanced effort with four players in double figures as it earned a solid 82-69 non-conference victory at Community College Beaver County on Wednesday night.

NCCC, which was ranked No. 14 in the most recent NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 15-4 overall, while the Titans fell to 10-5.

N-Trip freshman Allen Fordham netted a team-best 16 points off the bench, while classmate Aaron Miller had 14 points and seven rebounds.

Also for the T-Wolves, who canned nine 3-pointers and shot 45 percent from the field, freshman Lamar Lovelace scored 13 and freshman Taylor Sanders had 11.

Jalen Vaughn had 14 points to lead CCBC.

NCCC tips off Western New York Athletic Conference play at 3 p.m. Saturday when it visits Monroe Community College.
