Niagara County Community College built up a 20-point halftime lead en route to a 90-76 Western New York Athletic Conference road win at rival Erie Community College on Wednesday night.
The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 12 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 21-4 overall and 6-0 in the conference. ECC dropped to 11-8, 3-3.
N-Trip had five players in double figures led by freshman Justin Hendrick, who finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
NCCC freshman Aaron Miller had 13 points and seven boards, the freshman duo of Lamar Lovelace and Allen Fordham each notched 12 points and five rebounds and classmate Taylor Sanders chipped in with 10 points.
Joshua Denis scored 17 to lead the Kats.
The T-Wolves return to action at 7 p.m. Thursday when they travel to nationally-ranked Div. III Herkimer College.
