Niagara County Community College built up a 15-point halftime lead on its way to a 77-71 road win at WVU Potomac State College on Friday night.
The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 10 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 9-2 overall. The Catamounts fell to 7-6.
NCCC freshman Aaron Miller had 14 points and five rebounds, while freshman Justin Hendrick added 13 points, five boards and four assists and freshman Lamar Lovelace chipped in with 10 points.
Malik Lacewell had a game-high 26 points for the Catamounts.
