Host SUNY Niagara shot 46 percent from the field on its way to an 89-79 Western New York Athletic Conference victory over local rival Erie Community College on Wednesday night.
The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 13 in the most recent NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 20-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
Sophomore Bobby Beilein had a season-high 18 points, while classmate Camron Dyer stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
Sophomores Jamyier Patton and Jalen Duff along with freshman Chioke Marshall netted 12 points apiece.
The Wolves are back in action at 3:30 p.m. Saturday for a non-conference contest vs. Cuyahoga Community College.
