SUNY Niagara won a pair of important NJCAA Div. II contests at this past weekend's annual Thunderwolves Holiday Classic. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 13 in the latest national poll, improved to 14-0 overall. The Wolfpack is back in action at 7:30 p.m. Friday with a non-conference contest at Henry Ford College.
No. 13 SUNY Niagara 99, No. 17 Henry Ford 74
The Thunderwolves scored 53 points after intermission and forced 25 turnovers on their way to a win over a ranked Hawks squad. Sophomore Jamyier Patton led the way with 26 points, six rebounds and six steals. Freshman Chioke Marshall had 22 points off the bench, while sophomore Camron Dyer netted 16 points and classmate Jalen Duff added 11 points, five boards and four steals. Sophomore Bobby Beilein chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds.

Marshall had a game-high 23 points and six rebounds as the T-Wolves shot a blistering 50 percent from the field and built a 14-point halftime lead. Duff netted 20 points, freshman Bradley Beache had a career-best 15 points and 12 boards and Patton finished with 15 points and four rebounds.
