SUNY Niagara snapped a two-game losing streak with a convincing 129-66 non-conference home victory over St. John Fisher University JV on Sunday afternoon. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 11 in the final NJCAA Div. II poll of the calendar year 2024, improved to 15-2 overall.
Sophomore Jamyier Patton led a parade of six double-digit scorers with 26 points to go with four rebounds and four steals. Classmate Jaeden Bynoe also had a big outing, finishing with 25 points, five assists and three steals.
Sophomore Jalen Duff notched a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists, while fellow second-year starter Camron Dyer added 13 points, nine boards, four assists and four steals. Freshman Shaun Kolnacki chipped in 13 points and seven rebounds in the win.
The T-Wolves return to the court at 7 p.m. Saturday when they face off vs. NJCAA Div. I power Monroe University in the first of two games at the Mustangs' annual Mixer event.
