Thunderwolves fall to CCBC Catonsville

Niagara County Community College mustered just four shots in Saturday's 4-1 non-conference home loss to CCBC Catonsville of Region XX. The Thunderwolves are now 0-2 on the young season.

The lone goal for NCCC came just over 10 minutes into the contest when freshman defender Nick Walker lofted a ball from deep in his own end right to the foot of freshman forward Alex Kelly, who buried the ball in the back of the net from 18 yards out.

Offensively, freshman forward Maurice Channer had a team-high two shots on goal. In net, sophomore backstop Ryan Holovics made five saves.

Josh Ridgley scored twice to lead the Cardinals (1-1).

Next up is a Western New York Athletic Conference contest against NJCAA Division I Mercyhurst North East at 5 p.m. Wednesday on the Sanborn campus.
