Battling through mounting injuries, Niagara County Community College dropped a tight 1-0 decision to visiting Jefferson CC in Region III action Saturday afternoon. NCCC dropped to 4-10-1 overall and 3-7-1 in regional play.
Sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Holovics had 11 saves in net, while freshman Maurice Channer led the offense with four shots on goal.
Thomas Leech scored the lone goal for the Cannoneers (7-7).
