NCCC lands five players on All-Region team

Niagara County Community College finished with its best men's soccer record since the fall of 2006 and was rewarded with five players named to the annual Region III Division III All-Region squad. The Thunderwolves (4-2) had one first-team selection and four others named to the second team. 

Freshman striker Taivier Stewart represented NCCC on the first team as he finished with three goals and an assist. Fellow first-year striker Fritz Summer along with sophomore midfielder David Reilly were named to the second team after leading N-Trip with three goals and two assists each. Sophomore defender Jacob Fleck, who had two goals and an assist to his credit, along with freshman backline-mate Kyle Rhoads also earned second-team honors. 

Alex Charles of Region III champion Herkimer College was named Player of the Year, while Mohawk Valley CC head coach Dominic DiMaggio was honored as Coach of the Year.
