Host Niagara County Community College regained the .500 mark with a 2-1 overtime victory against local Region III rival Erie Community College on Wednesday.
The Thunderwolves are now 3-3, while the Kats dropped to 1-3.
Freshman striker Ruben Joao Baptista put home the game winner just over a minute into extra time.
Leading scorer Jay Yule, another freshman, scored the other N-Trip goal off a pass from classmate Paul Elanga. Yule has a team-high six goals on the year.
Freshman goalkeeper Lucas Schiel made seven saves to pick up the win in net.
Husseni Hassani scored the only ECC goal.
NCCC returns to action at 3 p.m. Sunday when it takes on Jamestown Community College in another regional match. The game is slated to be played at Falconer High School.
