NCCC shut out by nationally-ranked Hawks

Niagara County Community College finished its Region III Division III slate with a 5-5 mark after a 5-0 setback to visiting and nationally-ranked Mohawk Valley Community College on Sunday afternoon. 

The Thunderwolves wrap up the regular season with a pair of non-region matches before learning its postseason fate. The Hawks, meanwhile, improved to 8-2.

NCCC goalkeeper Lucas Schiel was busy throughout and finished with 10 saves in the loss.

Elhadji Sidibe had a hat trick for MVCC.

N-Trip has its final home game of the season at 4 p.m. Wednesday when it hosts USCAA member Villa Maria College.
