SUNY Niagara recorded its second tie in the last three outings on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Noah Sass scored both goals as the Thunderwolves and rival Erie Community College played to a 2-2 tie at Nardin Academy. The T-Wolves are now 0-7-2 both overall and in regional play.
Sass scored unassisted early and added a penalty kick to give SUNY Niagara a 2-1 lead that it would hold until the 80th minute. Freshman goalkeeper Quinn Walton made eight stops between the pipes.
The Thunderwolves return to the pitch at 2 p.m. Wednesday for a Region III contest vs. Jamestown Community College.
