T-Wolves play close with RWU JV

SUNY Niagara freshman goalkeeper Quinn Walton continued his strong play between the pipes, but it wasn't enough in a 2-0 non-conference loss to host Roberts Wesleyan University JV on Wednesday night. Walton made 17 saves for the Thunderwolves (0-2 overall). He now has 36 saves on the year.

Freshman Ayham Blasiny notched two of the T-Wolves' three shots on net. The Redhawks, who scored a goal in each half, had a large 29-3 edge in shots.

SUNY Niagara returns to the pitch at 3:30 p.m. Saturday when it begins Region III play with a road showdown vs. perennial power Genesee Community College.
