SUNY Niagara softball hosts signing day

The SUNY Niagara softball program has signed 10 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent to join the Thunderwolves this coming fall. Head coach Robert McKeown and his coaching staff hosted seven of the players for a signing event inside the athletic department lobby on Wednesday evening. SUNY Niagara is coming off a winless season this past spring, but McKeown believes this incoming class will play a pivotal role in turning the program's fortunes around.

Joining the Wolfpack next fall are:

  • Caitlin Ryan – SS/P, Oakfield-Alabama
  • Jordan Shaffer – OF, North Tonawanda
  • Paige VanEvery – 1B/P/3B, Hutch-Tech
  • Sidney Ziemendorf – OF, Wilson
