SUNY Niagara played a bit short-handed and dropped a pair of Region III road games at Jefferson Community College on Saturday afternoon.
The Thunderwolves are now 2-17 overall and 2-7 in regional play.

Freshman Quinn Manth ripped a two-run single for the Wolves, who scored all five of their runs in the fifth inning. Classmate Lauren Kisloski was 1-for-2 with two RBI and sophomore Rylee VanNostrand finished 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Manth went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two stolen bases in the setback. Freshman Mia Herman was 2-for-3 with an RBI, while sophomore Saige Friedl and freshman Sidney Ziemendorf each went 1-for-2 with a run scored.
