NCCC picks up road win at Jamestown

Niagara County Community College traveled down to the snowy southern tier and came home with a 92-52 Region III road victory over Jamestown Community College on Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 11 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, are now 26-1 overall and 6-0 in regional play. 

Sophomore wing Cierra Harrison led NCCC with a game-high 22 points to go with seven rebounds. Freshman guard Alaina Forbes scored 16 points off the bench and sophomore point guard Nickelle O'Neil stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, 10 steals, five assists and four boards. Sophomore guard Paige Emborsky added 10 points and five boards and sophomore center Aubrey Halloran chipped in with 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots. The T-Wolves held a 52-34 edge on the glass.

Next up for NCCC is the final road tilt of the regular season - 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Genesee Community College.
