Forbes earns WNYAC recognition

Niagara County Community College sophomore guard Alaina Forbes was recently named Western New York Athletic Conference Senior Female Athlete of the Year following a vote of the conference's athletic directors. 

Forbes averaged 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.4 steals per game on her way to Region III Player of the Year honors. She also picked up Division II All-American third-team honors from both the NJCAA and World Exposure Report. Forbes led the Thunderwolves to a third consecutive regional title this past spring.
