Thunderwolves get back to .500

Niagara County Community College regained the .500 mark with a 67-60 road victory over Bryant & Stratton College (Albany) at the Albany Boys & Girls Club on Thursday. The Thunderwolves are now 4-4 overall, while the USCAA-affiliated Bobcats fell to 4-5.

Freshman Aichata Ballo led N-Trip with 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals. Sophomore Alaina Forbes added 13 points and classmate Taylor Lockwood had 10 points and six boards. The T-Wolves held a 52-37 edge on the glass in the win.

Kiara Sweeney had 14 points to lead BSC Albany.

NCCC returns to the hardwood at 1 p.m. Saturday for a non-conference matchup with WVU Potomac State College. The game will be played at Westmoreland Community College in Youngwood, PA.
