Host Niagara County Community College cruised past former local conference rival Genesee Community College, 105-73, this past Wednesday. The Thunderwolves improved to 6-2 overall, while the Cougars fell to 2-3.
Freshman Gabrielle McDuffie had 19 points, seven rebounds and six steals for the T-Wolves, who finished 45-of-105 from the field. N-Trip also pulled down 62 rebounds and had 24 team assists.
Also for NCCC, freshman Brianna Beebe had 13 points and six boards, freshman Ashley Tucker notched 11 points and eight rebounds and the backcourt duo of Kiya Marquez and Alaina Forbes netted 10 points apiece.
Mackenzie Gratto had 22 points for GCC.
The Thunderwolves return to action at Noon Sunday vs. Monroe College.
