Niagara County Community College overcame a slow start to knock off non-conference opponent Henry Ford College, 83-42, at the Thunderwolves Holiday Classic on Sunday afternoon.
The T-Wolves finished the first semester with a 12-3 overall record. The Hawks, meanwhile, fell to 2-9.
NCCC sophomore Alaina Forbes scored a team-best 15 points, while freshman Ashley Tucker added 14 points and eight rebounds.
Freshman Jenna Slader put in 12 points and freshman Aichata Ballo had 11 points, seven assists, seven steals and five boards.
N-Trip forced 37 turnovers in the victory.
Monica Williams had 16 points to lead Henry Ford College.
The Thunderwolves return to action at 2 p.m. Jan. 5 when Lorain County Community College visits the Sanborn campus.
