Niagara County Community College earned its 12th consecutive win with a 66-48 Western New York Athletic Conference victory at Jamestown Community College on Saturday afternoon.
The Thunderwolves, who are receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 20-3 overall and 4-0 in WNYAC play. JCC, meanwhile, dropped to 10-12, 1-2.
NCCC freshman Gabrielle McDuffie had a team-high 14 points in the win. She also brought down six rebounds for the T-Wolves, who built a 43-20 halftime lead.
Also for N-Trip, freshman Kiya Marquez had a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds and classmate Aichata Ballo stuffed the stat sheet with nine points, eight assists and seven boards.
Hannah Hicks had 15 points and 22 rebounds for the Jayhawks.
NCCC returns to action at 5 p.m. Thursday when it visits nationally-ranked Div. III Herkimer College.
