Niagara County Community College kicked off the annual Thunderwolves Holiday Classic with an 88-61 non-conference victory over visiting Jefferson Community College on Saturday night.
The T-Wolves are now 11-3 overall, while the Cannoneers dropped to 5-3.
NCCC sophomore Alaina Forbes led the way with 17 points, while freshman Ashley Tucker netted 14 points.
Stuffing the stat sheet for N-Trip were freshmen Gabrielle McDuffie (13 points, 9 rebounds, 9 steals) and Aichata Ballo (nine points, seven assists, five rebounds and five steals).
The Thunderwolves finished with 20 assists and 20 steals as a team.
Gabrielle Morley and Kalyn Bryant each had 18 points for Jefferson CC.
NCCC will wrap up the first semester at 2 p.m. Sunday when its hosts Henry Ford College.
