Niagara County Community College swept the three-game regular-season series from Monroe Community College, picking up a 74-54 road Western New York Athletic Conference win on Saturday afternoon in Rochester.
The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 20 in the most recent NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 22-3 overall and 5-0 in the WNYAC. The Tribunes fell to 2-12, 0-5.
The tandem of freshman Gabrielle McDuffie and sophomore Alaina Forbes split 24 points as N-Trip built up a 42-21 halftime lead. McDuffie added six rebounds in the win.
Also for the T-Wolves, freshman Meghan Gill netted a season-high 11 points.
Isabella DuRubeis had 16 points to lead MCC.
NCCC has a quick turnaround with a road tilt slated for 1 p.m. Sunday at Allegany College of Maryland.
