Bushey continues to dominate

Niagara County Community College sophomore Jordan Bushey went an impressive 5-0 to take first place in the 174-pound bracket of the 34th annual John Summa Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace University this past weekend.

Bushey won two matches by major decision and twice by technical fall before taking the championship tilt, 9-4, over Lucas Salmon of the host school. Bushey, who has now taken top honors at four tournaments, is currently 23-2 on the season.

NCCC freshman Christian Robinson was fourth at 165 pounds after earning three wins. Robinson is now 20-9 on the year.

Next up for the T-Wolves is the annual Northeast District I Championships on Sun. Feb. 23 at SUNY Sullivan.
