Bushey takes 1st at JCC Open

Niagara County Community College sophomore Jordan Bushey took home first place in the 184-pound bracket at the annual Jamestown Community College Open on Sunday. Bushey went 3-0 at the event, including a pin, technical fall and 5-1 championship victory over Gannon University's Cameron Page. Bushey is now 23-2 on the season.

Freshmen Mason Gray (149) and Christian Robinson (165) each finished as runner-up in their brackets, while sophomore Jacob Bell (125) took third. Freshman Maurice Jackson (197) was fifth and classmate Jaquan Johnson (285) was sixth. 

Next up for the Thunderwolves is action at Baldwin Wallace University on Feb. 7 and 8.
