NCCC takes two wins at Muskegon Duals

Niagara County Community College made the long trek to Michigan and earned a pair of dual-meet victories at the annual Muskegon Community College Duals this past Friday night. The Thunderwolves, who are ranked No. 17 in the most recent NJCAA team poll, are now 3-0 overall in dual meets this season. 

Niagara CCC 36, Muskegon CC 13

Redshirt freshman Mason Gray won his first match in nearly 18 months via pinfall to spark NCCC. Other winners by pin included: freshman Jacob Mancuso (141), sophomore Frankie Gissendaner (157) and sophomore Jordan Bushey (184). Sophomore Jacob Bell (125) and freshman Christian Robinson (165) earned tight decisions for the T-Wolves.

Niagara CCC 42, Rochester (Mich.) College 9

Gissendaner's pin at 149 pounds ignited a landslide victory for the Thunderwolves. Other winners by pin included: Bushey (184), freshman Devin Van Lengen (197) and freshman Leroy Williams (285). Freshman Josh Thibeault (174) won by technicall fall, classmate Trent Ingraham (165) was a winner by major decision and Robinson won a 6-4 decision at 157 pounds.
